  Refurbishment of the Place Dr F. Kons | Phase 2

  In accordance with the ‘Remich 2035’ master plan presented in September 2021, the Place Dr F. Kons will be redeveloped in a number of stages to make it more attractive.

  

  In the first phase, a green space under the existing double row of plane trees along the N10 has already been created. The cobbled surface has been removed and replaced by a mixed planting of perennials and grasses. The slightly raised planting area, crossed by a footpath, offers relaxation areas under the trees.

  

  

  In a second phase, a water playground and a new pavilion will follow:

  • Demolition of the existing kiosk
  • Early 2025 - Construction of a canopy
  • Installation of water features
  • LED street lighting

  Estimated completion date: June-July 2025

  Redevelopment of the ‘Rue de la Cité’ (Phase 1)

  Completion of roadworks, pavements and public spaces in the lower section of the Rue de la Cité.

  Completion of drainage works in the Rue de la Corniche.

  Early 2025 - Infrastructure and roadworks in the upper part of the Rue de la Cité (between the crossroads with the Rue de la Corniche and the Rue des Pommiers).

  Installation of street lighting before the 2025 summer holidays.
